High 5 Estero Now Targets February 28, 2027. Until Then, Miromar Lakes' Season Runs Through Hertz Arena and the Outlets

The big entertainment complex going up on Williams Road is a winter 2027 project now, not a fall 2026 one. At the Village of Estero's June 17 council workshop, High 5 Entertainment President Scott Emley presented an updated schedule. It moves the soft openings into January and February and sets the grand opening for February 28, 2027, with all attractions running. In mid-October, the operator's own Estero page still reads "Coming Soon."

The "November 2026" date is still in circulation. Engage Estero's development summary, marked "Updated: Winter 2026," lists High 5 as planning to open in November 2026. If your mental calendar for this season still has a pickleball-and-bowling night on Williams Road before Thanksgiving, it needs to move.

For Miromar Lakes, the change means the familiar places carry the next four months. Hertz Arena and Miromar Outlets have the full season on the books, and High 5 is set to open near the end of it.

What the June Schedule Actually Says

The council presentation lays out the ramp-up in a specific order:

  1. Late January or early February 2027: a job fair, timed to match the construction schedule.
  2. Mid-February 2027: a soft opening built around training parties for VIPs, the Village, contractors and investors.
  3. End of February or early March 2027: the grand opening, with every attraction running.
  4. February 28, 2027: the target grand-opening date.

The mid-February soft opening is described as training parties for invited groups. For most people, the first realistic day to walk in is the grand opening. The Village's own recap of the June 17 meeting describes the same sequence: several soft openings before a grand opening "in late February or early March."

February 28 is a target. Until the operator announces a public event date, treat the opening as late February or early March, the window both the presentation and the Village recap give.

What Opens on Williams Road When It Does

The operator is High 5 Exchange, a Texas-based family entertainment company founded by Jenny and Scott Emley. The Estero page links to its Austin and Lake Travis locations. The Estero building is part of a public-private partnership with the Village, on the north side of Williams Road east of Via Coconut Point.

Here is what's confirmed inside, and where each piece comes from:

Attraction What's planned Source
Bowling 16 USBC lanes High 5 Exchange
Mini golf Two 18-hole outdoor courses, named Calusa and Coconut June 17 council presentation
Pickleball Estero Pickleball Club with 21 courts: 6 indoor, 15 outdoor, including a championship court, plus a pro shop High 5 Exchange; Village recap
Screens and games Arcade and Valoarena virtual reality High 5 Exchange
Laser tag Listed in the Village's campus description Village of Estero
Food and drink Full food and beverage service with a full bar; kitchen branded Scratch Ranch High 5 Exchange; Gulfshore Business

The complex will be open to the public. Memberships are planned in three versions: general, pickleball-focused and bowling-focused. There will also be a separate benefits program for Estero residents. No membership prices, hours or court reservation rules have been published yet. For now, the operator's page offers a sign-up list for launch updates. If you're planning around the pickleball courts in particular, the reservation model will matter more than the opening date, and it isn't public yet.

The Park Around It Runs on the Village's Schedule

High 5 is the most visible part of a larger plan. It sits inside the Village's 100-acre Sports and Entertainment District, whose master plan the council approved on January 22, 2025. The public pieces of the SportsPark follow their own funding and construction calendar, so some will be ready before the entertainment building opens and some well after.

Here's where each piece stands, per the Village's SportsPark page and Engage Estero's September 2026 community report:

  • Already done: the main turf football field, installed in 2024, and the hard courts, renovated in 2025.
  • Under construction: Phase 1, including the new main entrance road off Via Coconut Point. It was under active construction as of August 2026 and is scheduled to finish in late 2026.
  • Funded, still in design: Phase 2, which covers a driving range, two synthetic turf multi-use fields, an event lawn, paths, restrooms, a pavilion, a maintenance facility, a road extension and parking. On September 23, 2026, the council approved up to $65 million in bonds for capital projects that include Phase 2.

So the late-2026 entrance road is the next piece of the site due to finish. The new front door off Via Coconut Point should be done before the building it leads to opens. The driving range and event lawn come after that, on the timeline the bond financing allows.

The trail connection is further out. In March 2026, the Village approved a purchase-and-sale agreement for about 4.1 miles of rail corridor running from Estero Parkway south to the Bonita Springs line. That is the corridor behind the Bonita Estero Rail Trail, known as BERT. At the same September 23 meeting, the council extended the inspection and closing dates on that agreement for more due diligence. The corridor is still under contract, and the Village has not closed on it yet.

Where the Season Actually Happens Until February

With Williams Road on hold until late winter, Miromar Lakes' fall and early-winter evenings stay where they've been: at Hertz Arena and at Miromar Outlets. Both have published dates well ahead.

Hertz Arena, Everblades Nights and Touring Acts

The Florida Everblades' schedule set the home opener and banner raising against Orlando for October 17. The rest of the team's 2026–27 promotional schedule fills the weeks before High 5 is due to open. Concert and comedy dates come from Hertz Arena's event calendar.

Sat., Oct. 24 Everblades Sweets in the Suites

Arena calendars change during a season, so check a date against the arena's own listing before you buy tickets.

Miromar Outlets, Mostly on Weekends

The rest of October at Miromar Outlets is a short list of dated events, and most land on Fridays and Saturdays:

  • Sat., Oct. 24: Walk for Wishes, plus the farmers market in the parking lot across from the Shell station off Corkscrew Road
  • Fri., Oct. 30, 5 to 7 p.m.: Mall-O-Ween, mall-wide trick-or-treating
  • Sat., Oct. 31: Ford's Garage Halloween Car Show in the parking lot

The store roster has changed since summer. Perfume Outlet appeared on the center's new-store list in July, and the Outlets announced the reopening of J.Crew Factory on August 27. For dinner at the Outlets, Wasabi by Suji Japanese Steakhouse joined in the first half of 2026, according to Gulfshore Business's midyear restaurant roundup. The same roundup lists Chuck Lager Legendary Kitchen as a new restaurant near Gulf Coast Town Center.

Reading the Two Calendars Together

From now through New Year's, every confirmed date close to Miromar Lakes is at Hertz Arena or the Outlets. The Everblades' fall run of promo nights goes through the Teddy Bear Toss and Skate with the Players on December 4 and 5, and the team's schedule continues into the new year. Jim Gaffigan closes out the year at the arena on December 30. The SportsPark's Phase 1 entrance road is also due to finish in late 2026, so the approach off Via Coconut Point should be in place before anything at the end of it opens to the public.

January and February are when High 5 starts. The job fair comes first, then the invitation-only training parties in mid-February. If the target holds, the bowling lanes, the Calusa and Coconut mini golf courses, the arcade and the 21 courts of the Estero Pickleball Club open to the public on February 28, 2027, which leaves them part of high season. Membership prices, hours and the court reservation model should come out before then. Those details will decide whether the courts work for a regular weekday game or mainly as a weekend outing.

If you're on the operator's update list, that announcement will be the one to watch. Until then, the dates above are the ones that are confirmed.
